Clay Smith, COO of Applied Software, described the customer success initiative as the next phase in the evolution of the company, one of the most agile and emergent Autodesk resellers in the nation. “We are launching a dedicated customer success team that will focus on driving value for our subscription customers and increasing their satisfaction,” Smith said. “We have always sought to put our customers front and center and feel that this new model is in keeping with that tradition.”
Benny Meadows has been named Director of Customer Success, having been on the Applied team since April, 2019. Meadows has a background in customer support and has been working to deliver innovations to Applied clients for about a year. “Our goal is to ensure our clients achieve their desired outcomes when using our products or services and that they succeed in an increasingly competitive landscape,” Meadows said.
At a high level, customer success is the process of anticipating customer challenges or questions and proactively providing solutions and answers to them. Meadows explained, “We are striving to form proactive partnerships with each of our clients to provide the best experience possible. They will have a team of people to stand shoulder to shoulder with them.”
