Anthony Zuefeldt, Senior Solutions Specialist in the Applied Software Rocky Mountain office, is stepping up to help fund research for childhood cancer. Along with his wife, Megan, Anthony is participating in a fundraising event for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. According to the American Cancer Society, there will be an estimated 10,590 new cases of childhood and adolescent cancer in 2019. Currently only 4% of US federal funding is dedicated solely to childhood cancer research. The St. Baldrick’s mission is to help fill this critical gap.
Anthony and Megan will both have their heads shaved on March 31 to stand in solidarity with those who are fighting cancer. You can support them by sharing the mission of St. Baldrick’s with your friends and family. If you would like to financially contribute to this cause, you can donate to the head shaving event on the Zuefeldts’ participant page.
