September 24, 2021 – Atlanta, GA: Applied Software, a leading systems integrator for the architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing industries, has announced it will assist customers who want to take advantage of the new Autodesk Flex licensing model that launches on September 24, 2021.

Under Flex licensing, companies with occasional users buy “tokens” in lots of 500 in order to access three dozen Autodesk products. They submit the required number of tokens to access the software for 24 hours at a time. For example, Revit under a flex scenario requires ten tokens per 24 hours of use. The price of tokens is currently $3.00, with discounts as low as $2.70 for quantities of 25,000. Tokens are valid for one year from purchase date.

Autodesk reports that the top products available for flex use will include AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max, Maya, and Fusion 360. There are also 18 products included with flex use that will be free of charge, for example Civil 3D Grading Optimization and Revit Generative Design.

“We understand that Autodesk products are unique to each of the industries we serve,” said Richard Burroughs IV, Applied Software Vice President of Customer Engagement. “Flex licensing gives companies more options for purchasing and making those products accessible to users.”
